Max (formerly Benson) came to us in January 2007 and was rehomed due to a change in his owners circumstances.

He has settled in great and loves being the centre of attention. He is a lovely natured boy and very good for his young age.

We asked his new owner Tina, what made her decide to go the Rescue route?

"i was approached to look after another NIBRS boxer rescue dog (Tori) as her owner was going away for a few weeks. Fell in love with her over the 2 weeks and realised that we were now in a good position to have a dog of our own as previously we both worked full time and it wasn't fair to have a dog. Tori was a great advocate for NIBRS and boxers in general, so we knew what we wanted. Although it was tempting to look for a puppy, we felt that it would be better to have a rescue dog as it felt like the right decision to give an older dog a loving home".
