Lara was an 11 month old puppy who hadn't had a great start in her short life so far and as a result was looking for a great home in 2009.

She wasn’t in rescue very long and soon found her way into the hearts of her new owners Trevor, Helene and family.

NIBRS would like to thank them for giving Lara her forever home.

RAINBOW BRIDGE

We received an e-mail from Helene, to say Lara had crossed over the rainbox bridge:

"Hi

This is an extremely sad email to write but our beautiful pup Lara passed away on Tuesday 23rd June (she had cancer) and was only 7.

We as a family were very fortunate to get Lara from yourselves in March 2009 and never looked back. She brought plenty of love, affection and fun to our lives and will be sorely missed. 

She was loved by everyone and was a total 'nutcase' through and through so fitted in very well with our family.  To say we are heartbroken is an understatement but we have plenty of brilliant memories. 😢
