HOMES FOUND - BELLA

Bella came to us in 2007 from a vet outside Belfast, where she had been found straying with a breeding related medical condition.

She went to a fabulous foster home, and was spayed. She has made amazing progress and her foster home loved her so much she’s there to stay now!

We don’t think she had ever lived in a family environment, or even indoors, but after some training, a few good baths and lots of TLC, it’s like she’s been there forever. She has had a new lease of life and rediscovered her puppy years and is full of the joys of being a rescue boxer!

UPDATE - 19 May 2008

Bella is very much enjoying her life with Kathryn and Hanna. She is enjoying the sunshine and playing with her friends in the shape of some Staffies who belong to Kathryn and Hanna’s friends. She is looking better than ever and is one very loved and contented girl.

All at NIBRS thank Kathryn and Hanna for giving Bella her a forever home which is filled with love.

UPDATE -17 Mar 2009

Jacqui received an e-mail from Kathryn:

"Hi Jacqui,

I hope you're keeping well.

Just wanted to give you a wee update on our Bella! She is doing great, as you know she had a lot of ill health when she first arrived but is now fully recovered from her prolapsed womb / surgery for lumps etc.

She is full of energy and enjoys a lot of walks - especially when we take her places where she can be off leash and running free...although she doesn't seem to like to go too far from our sides! her favourite activity is still trying to sneak into bed with either me or my sister!

I've attached some pics so you can see her now - what a wee beauty.

All the best - Kathryn".
